Only 3 Months until Shoot for a Cause 2019
The dog days of summer are here and it’s only three months until this year’s “Shoot for a Cause” Vintage Military Rifle Shoot which will be held on Saturday, November 2nd at the Green River Gun Club, in Bowling Green, Kentucky. This year’s beneficiary will be the Children’s Activities at the Glasgow Highland Games which are held the weekend after Memorial Day at Barren River State Park in Lucas, Kentucky.
This year’s shoot will feature three marksmanship divisions – open site, scoped sniper and center fire black powder cartridge rifle. The open site and scoped sniper divisions are open to military rifles in original configuration that were in production prior to 1960. The black powder center fire cartridge rifle division is open to original and reproduction BPCF military rifles in original configuration.
We also have a Facebook group set up to allow members of our community to stay in touch year round at https://www.facebook.com/groups/721439194732053/

Inclement Weather is not an Issue
The 200 meter rifle range at the Green River Gun Club, where we will be holding this year’s Shoot for a Cause, has a well maintained shooting gallery with good over head cover which will allow us to shoot regardless of weather conditions.
